Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) Laptop Program Unsupported Program:
Students are also permitted to bring their own choice of laptop (meeting the listed minimum specifications) through
the BYOD unsupported program. The term ‘unsupported program’ refers to students/families being responsible for all matters associated with the device – purchase, warranty, programs, maintenance, insurance, etc. Please
note that there is no guarantee that BYOD devices will be able to access the NT Schools Network. The College will only
provide limited IT Support to students electing to participate in the unsupported BYOD program. Although not mandated,
Apple and Google Chrome devices are not recommended for the BYOD unsupported program due to their incompatibility with
the NT Schools network.
